The plastic artist Catya Plate creates mythologies and feminised worlds through techniques and materials traditionally associated with housework, such as embroidery, threads and clothes pegs, among others. In her two award-winning short films, she tackles topics such as the future of our species or desire, in stories that feature talking animals, crazy scientists and mutant freaks.
