CINECITTA ON WHEELS (Inti Carboni, Italia, 2016, 6´)

Los riders del equipo MURDER patinarán a través de la arquitectura racionalista de la fábrica de los sueños, como Fellini solía llamarlo, patinando desde la ciudad medieval de Assís, a las calles de 1930 de la ciudad de Nueva York, a una réplica de tamaño natural de la Antigua Roma, en un viaje entre la realidad y la ficción, donde el tiempo y el espacio se mezclan alrededor de la magia de la creación de películas.

TOMMERLINE (Mickey Smith, Irlanda, 2016, 3´41´´)

Mickey Smith es el conocido director detrás del premio ganador del corto “Dark Side of the Lens”. Tom Gillespie es un surfer de Dublín, Irlanda y el film es una colección de sus olas a partir de los últimos años en todo el litoral irlandés. Muchas de las olas han sido surfeadas en la película por Aileen de, Riley y Bumbloids y que fueron descubiertos por Mickey Smith en los últimos diez años.

PAUL (Victor van Vloten & Robert van Wingerden, Países Bajos, 2015, 15´)

The documentary short Paul is an inspiring story about Paul, a 13-year-old boy from the township Dunoon in Capetown, South-Africa. Paul has a dream, a dream he thinks about the whole day; he wants to become a surfer.
But for boys from Dunoon it’s not easy to surf. There is no transport to the beach and there is no money for equipment. Luckily there is a registered non-profit organization that picks up Paul three times a week to go surfing at the crystal white beaches of Blouberg beach.
The documentary shows one week in the life of Paul. The story inspires you and it will change your view on kids from disadvantaged areas forever.
The narrator of the story is surfing legend and sports icon Robby Naish, who has an appearance in the documentary as well.

TOO MUCH TO DREAM LAST NIGHT (Dustin Humphrey, Indonesia, 2013, 36´41´´)

I HAD TO MUCH TOO DREAM LAST NIGHT’ follows the simplistic travels of two surfers, meeting friends along the way, on an open ended journey across an archipelago littered with islands and breaks. Connected by ribbons of tarmac and separated by deep ocean valleys these islands have been here for millennia and will continue to do so for millennia to come. An veritable eden for waves of every nature, from long reeling glassy points breaks to sketchy urchin infested waves in the middle of nowhere
Embodying the inherent freedom in adventure, these wide eyed riders go only where they need to, and do so by motorcycle, a form of transport so simple yet so deeply ingrained into the lifeblood this archipelago that it would cease to function without it. With a full spectrum of surfboards, from 4’11 to 10ft, and the means to travel to wherever the swell was hitting, this duo simply went out and surfed…nothing more…nothing less.

SURF SIN LIMITES (Iker Elorrieta, España, 2015, 9´23´´)

El film es una conversación entre Lucia Martiño (surfista española), Gabriel Gorce (surfista con discapacidad visual y medallista paralímpico), Albert Garriga (surfista con lesión medular) y Anna Marchessi (surfista con Parálisis Cerebral). Una versión más corta del film se utilizó para una campaña de Ford. El objetivo del film es mostrar a través del surf la discapacidad desde un punto de vista positivo.
